It is necessary, not only due to the ever increasing amount of knowledge, the decrease number of staff and time, and sometimes the uselessness of physical contact sessions between students and tutors, particularly to those ones who acknowledge where are the gaps and what to search for to fill them in. The blackboard at SUN teaches us in a very nice virtual tutorial format, how to upload teaching resources and materials to a distant course. It is also broadly acknowledge the need for changing the trends in HSE. The link above is only one, of the many I retrieved when I searched the web on the issue.
We have indeed, to be more active, and apply theoretical knowledge into practice!
This blog was created primarily as part of the elective e-learning module for second year students of MPhil course in Health Sciences Education at SUN, 2010. Main goal is to prepare and upload guidelines or short e-learning based course on our discipline or a topic we select, for the academic level of our choice.

MPhil Electives 2010
I started with a bit of reserve and fear, but I actually need to learn how to interact, because quite soon I will have to upload the content of our MB ChB 3 course to our blackboard.
Sometimes it is frustrating, particularly when you are short of time -or patience.
Greetings to all of you.
Thanks Dr. Bosman
